Visual artist Alice Parmelee Rich captures the vibrancy and energy of the Canadian coast in her compelling landscape paintings. Pre ferring larger formats, her style has been described as impressionistic, expressive, abstract, dramatic, atmospheric and accessible.
Studio 13 Fine Art, a working artists’ studio/gallery, encompasses Alice’s educator, painter and now incorporating her photographic work in her mixed media pieces. Alice graduated from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and from UBC Fine Art.
Alice loves being on Granville Island, and acting for her visitors as an animateur — ‘one who brings life to the works for the viewer’.
