Vancouver Yacht Charters

The charter yacht Royal Vancouver One is now celebrating 18 months on Granville Island.  Co-owners Himmat Heed and Scott Millar purchased the yacht because there was a need for a multi-purpose higher-end yacht.

Although they recently purchased the yacht, their background is local influence.  Himmat spent 15 years running the Sirloiner Resturant on Granville Island ( were Sammy J Peppers is now), then moved to Accent Cruises where he worked as GM for 5 years. Scott has spent the last 19 years on Granville Island as co-owner of Blue Eyed Charters.

They are upgrading the Royal Vancouver yacht for the Olympics, which includes satellite tv system with 6 flat screens to watch Olympic highlights, basically turning the 100 passenger Transport Canada licenced yacht into a floating sports bar! Our goal is to be an affordable attraction during the Games.

Granville Island is special to all of us who work here because of its unique assortment of artisan studios, retail, theatres and of course, the Market itself.
