Since 2006, Gigi B. has become synonymous with elegant design and beautiful gifts. Naming the store after his grandfather’s nickname, Marco Biron has endeavored to create a unique retail atmosphere at Gigi B.

His family has its roots from the city of Venice, well known for its glass artisans. Marco reflects that tradition by lighting the store with handblown lanterns and chandeliers and showcasing artists from Canada and abroad such as Sid Dickens and Piero Fornassetti. Gigi B.’s goal is to introduce their creations to fans new and old. 

Granville Island is special to all of us who work here because of its unique assortment of artisan studios, retail, theatres and of course, the Market itself. There is always a buzz of exhilaration and joy on the Island; there are festivals, musicians and entertainment everywhere you look. This unusual assortment brings visitors back time and again to our wonderful community.
